- Hi there. My name is Azusa. I'm handling the export affairs to China and Portugal in the office at Nagoya, Japan for more than two years. My day's work is to contact with steamship companies, logistics companies, trading companies, factories and other divisions of our parent corporation to control the exportation of car parts. Jobs aside, I like both stay with lots of friends and alone. Sometime I join in the drinking party of Speaking English. I can exchange information about studying English and I can make new friends there.^^ I also like writing message to my friend and chatting on MSN. I want to be the person who considers societies. I'm sorry to hear your news.
You must have worked overtime extremly in your office. You have to stay at house and relaxe your body. Your bad cold will go away.

Did you get the money from your parents and relatives in New Year's day? I spent a lot of money giving my parents, my 5 nephews and a niece. Before I was married, I got money from my parents. But now it's oppsite situation.

As for New year's gift, I saw the cultual difference between Korea and Japan.
According to your comment, you can get money from your parents until you get married.
But in Japan, we can get it just until we graduate from University at longest.
And even if we are still students, we have to give money to our nephews and nieces.
Korean people tend to support their children longer than Japanese concerning money.
And one more. When you say lunar New year's day, it's based on the old calender, right?
In Japan, we cerebrate it on Jan. 1 only. We don't do anything on a luner new year.
On the other hand, which is bigger event, Luner New year or New year in Korea?
I'm curious about your country's culture.
Congratulations! You felt well!! Azusa. I just thought Japan's New Years day is the same as Korean's.
I have two New Year's days. First is solar January first,general calender and Second is lunar January first, the old calender.
We celebrate on lunar Jan. 1st New Year's Day more. At this time every family gets together, makes food and worships ancesters like bowing ancesters. In Korea, There is a big movement to meet each families who lives different cities.
In TV news we can see extremly lots of traffic jams on the highways every lunar New Year's day.
I don't know exatly why our country celebrates two. But we are more important about old one.
About New Year's gift, depending on parents and children. Some parents give money to their adult children, just like fun and kind.
And If adult children don't have economic ablity, they don't give money to their parents, nephews and neice.
My case is general.
I am so fun to know our different cultures.
I see.
In Japan, there is no tradition that
grownups give money to their parents even after marrige.
It's the biggest differency between Korea and Japan.
